Federal Goverment of Nigeria through Mr Segun Awolowo of The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) made a deal with the government of Mali to buy vehicles from Nigeria, and Mali purchased 400 SUVs from Innoson.

With ProForce Armoured Vechicles, Innoson, and truck plants in Kano.

Nigeria has a great opportunity of replacing Japan in Africa if only the Federal Government of Nigeria
 would see the opportunities embedded in the automobile industry and the enormous economic and employment solutions it would bring.
