"As we speak, whole nations in Africa (Nigeria inclusive) are about to consume wholesale, a medication whose complete composition is nowhere to be found either on the internet or hard copy literature.

The only thing we know about the Madagascar drug “COVID organics” is that it is based on ARTEMISININ, a compound reknowned for its efficacy against malaria.

In fairness, a lot of promising therapy against COVID-19 has revolved around anti malarial drugs, but that is not where science of medication stops.

It is also good to notice that some forms of clinical trials have started, although this should have actually been concluded before the Madagascar President Rajoelina, consumed the drug on national television.

I know big pharma exists and won’t be one of those to deny the conspiracy.

Let us leave the big pharma cartel, and look at science.

Big pharma, once you cross outside United States and Canada, has its influence whittled down significantly.

This means, once an ailment is not suffered significantly by Americans and Canadians on American and Canadian soil, big pharma is much less likely to play politics.

There are many diseases that are limited to the tropics and Southern hemisphere, which are of little interest to residents of North America (minus Mexico).

The drugs for these diseases have undergone rigorous clinical trials where efficacy, dosage and side effects are chronicled.

COVID organics has not satisfied these as we speak.

COVID organics is about to set a record as the first drug that will be consumed by millions, supported by government, for an ailment for which there has been no conclusive study.

Like I have said before, the drug may be effective.

It may even be a cure.

But normal standards would have been breached to establish this, and if the drug turns out harmful, millions would have been put at risk.

Every drug is a potential poison.

Sometimes, the poisonous effect is the drug itself, other times, it is the compound that is used to store the drug, or formulate the active ingredient.

For example, many who “react” to vaccines have no issue with the vaccine itself, but the egg based compound used to store the vaccine.

What science does, is to establish that the benefits of therapy, exceeds the risk of its poisonous effects.

Chloroquine cures malaria, but is poisonous to the heart and itches like hell.

Viagra helps with erectile dysfunction, and makes elderly men feel like 20 year olds, but in some people drops the blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Ramipril and Metformin are wonderful drugs for hypertension and diabetes respectively, but in a few people can damage the kidneys.

Some vaccines are perfect for generating immune response, but in people with weak immune systems, the vaccine actually causes the disease it is supposed to prevent.

COVID organic????

The striking thing is, some of these side effects take months to establish, yet Rajoelina took the drug just a few weeks ago.

One cannot stop anybody from taking a medication.

Afterall, everyone is selecting his or her own poison.

Difference is (and it’s a big difference) that others know theirs.

The decision of governments to endorse the drug has placed the issue of state sovereignty, a reality that supervenes even WHO advice.

And yes, I understand that for many, the choices are limited.

When one goes down, you are confronted with comatose health facilities.

But this is just to let you all know, that there is a certain unknown risk to all this.

The only ingredient we know about COVID organics is the ARTEMISININ.

We do not know the compound it is stored in.

We do not know the concentration.

We do not know the side effects of COVID organics as a formulation.

However, we do know it contains artemisinin, and artemisinin has a rich literature.

Here are the potential side effects;
1. Skin rash
2. Nausea.
3. Vomiting
4. Tremors.
5. Liver problems.

Also, people on epilepsy medications should not be taking any artemisinin based compound.

People with severe gastrointestinal problems would do well to avoid artemisinin compounds.

It is only logical that since artemisinin is a major component of COVID-ORGANICS, that we assume the same side effects apply, plus a few more unknown.

As you select your “poison”, at least be armed with a little knowledge of the potential risks.
